Returns & Refunds Policy
This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in it limits your statutory rights.
2.1 Cooling-Off Right (Electronic Transactions)
If you bought online, you may cancel your order without reason and without penalty within 7 (seven) days of receiving the goods, in line with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, subject to the exclusions below.
2.2 Change-of-Mind / Unwanted Product Returns
You may return a product you no longer want, provided:
-
It is returned within 7 (seven) days of delivery or collection;
-
For new, sealed products: it is unopened, unused, and undamaged, with all original labels, seals, and stickers intact;
-
For certified pre-owned products: it is returned in the same condition it was received in, with all original packaging and accessories, since these items are not sold sealed;
-
It is not missing any accessories, manuals, or parts; and
-
You return it together with your original invoice, or log the return via Support@appleworld.co.za quoting your order number.
After 7 days, a product can only be returned if it is defective (see 2.3) or as required by the CPA.
2.3 Defective or Faulty Products
If a product develops a defect through normal use within 6 (six) months of delivery, the CPA entitles you to choose, at our cost, between:

a repair of the product;
-
a replacement of the product; or
-
a full refund.
This 6-month right applies regardless of the sourcing channel disclosed in Section 1.2. Outside this period, a defective product is handled under the applicable Warranty Policy (Section 3).
2.4 Items That Cannot Be Returned
-
Products that have been personalised, engraved, or custom-configured for you;

Digital products, software licences, or gift cards once redeemed or activated;
-
Products with clear signs of misuse, liquid damage, or unauthorised repair; and
-
Consumable accessories (e.g. opened cables, screen protectors) once used, unless defective.
2.5 How Refunds Are Processed

Once we receive and inspect the returned product and validate the return, we will process your refund within 10–15 (ten to fifteen) working days.

Refunds are made to the original payment method used at checkout, or as store credit if you prefer.

Where a product has been used or the packaging is not resalable and the return is a change-of-mind (not defective) return, we reserve the right to apply a reasonable deduction reflecting the reduction in value, or to decline the return, as permitted under the CPA.

You may instead choose to exchange a returned product for another of equal value, or pay/be refunded the difference.
2.6 Collection Costs
Where a product is defective or was delivered in error, we will arrange collection at no cost to you. For change-of-mind returns, the cost of returning the item to us is for your account unless we advise otherwise.
2.7 How to Start a Return

Email Support@appleworld.co.za with your order number, the reason for return, and (for defective items) a description or photo/video of the fault.

We will confirm eligibility and, where applicable, arrange collection.

Please do not send a product back before receiving return confirmation from us.
