1. PURPOSE



This Marketplace & Third-Party Sales Policy governs the sale of Apple World products through:


  • Third-party marketplaces such as Avo and Takealot
  • Third-party payment, delivery, and financing providers (e.g., Bob Pay, Float, Bob Go)
  • Integrated services such as Apple World Care+ and complementary SIM/data promotions



The policy ensures transparency, legal compliance, and customer protection.


 


2. DEFINITIONS



  • “Customer” – Any individual or entity purchasing products via Apple World or third-party platforms.
  • “Products” – All items sold by Apple World, including Apple devices, Beats, Bang & Olufsen, accessories, and SIM/data promotions.
  • “Third-Party Providers” – Marketplaces, couriers, payment processors, and financing partners.
  • “Apple World Care+” – Extended warranty and optional accidental protection program integrated into marketplace sales or financing plans.






3. APPLICATION OF POLICY



3.1 This policy applies to all orders placed via third-party marketplaces or services where Apple World products are sold.


3.2 Customers acknowledge that by using these platforms, they accept:


  • Apple World’s Master Terms & Conditions of Sale
  • All applicable Apple World policies (Payment, Shipping, Returns, Warranty, Care+, Fraud Prevention)
  • The terms, policies, and procedures of third-party providers






4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY



4.1 Apple World manages product inventory and availability for marketplace sales.


4.2 Third-party marketplaces may display estimated stock levels, but Apple World reserves the right to:


  • Adjust inventory
  • Cancel orders due to unavailability
  • Communicate updated timelines



4.3 Pre-orders, backorders, and special orders are subject to separate terms disclosed at purchase.





5. PAYMENT & FINANCE



5.1 Payments for marketplace purchases are processed according to:


  • Marketplace checkout processes
  • Third-party providers such as Bob Pay (Card/EFT) or Float (BNPL, up to 24 months)



5.2 Apple World Care+ and optional accidental protection can be integrated into approved BNPL plans.


5.3 Customers remain responsible for compliance with both marketplace and third-party payment terms.





6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY



6.1 Products sold via marketplaces are delivered according to Apple World Shipping & Delivery Policy and the marketplace’s own logistics policies.


6.2 Delivery verification, identity checks, and insurance are applied as outlined in the Shipping Policy.


6.3 Complaints regarding shipping, tracking, or delivery must be submitted in accordance with both Apple World and marketplace procedures.





7. RETURNS & REFUNDS



7.1 Returns and refunds are governed by:


  • Apple World Returns & Refund Policy
  • Marketplace-specific return terms



7.2 Customers acknowledge that:


  • Third-party platforms may impose additional timelines or procedures
  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method and may be subject to third-party processing times



7.3 Apple World Care+ coverage remains valid and is applied in accordance with the Care+ Policy.





8. WARRANTY & CARE+ INTEGRATION



8.1 All products sold through marketplaces are eligible for manufacturer warranty, distributor warranty (ASBIS Africa), and Apple World Care+.


8.2 Customers must follow warranty claim procedures via Apple World or authorized service centers.


8.3 Marketplace-specific warranty disclaimers may apply; Apple World retains ultimate responsibility for product authenticity and Care+ administration.





9. THIRD-PARTY TERMS & LIMITED LIABILITY



9.1 Customers acknowledge that Apple World is a facilitator of marketplace services and third-party transactions.


9.2 By completing a purchase via a marketplace, customers agree to:


  • Marketplace Terms & Conditions
  • Third-party courier, finance, or payment terms
  • Apple World policies



9.3 Apple World’s liability is limited to:


  • Correct facilitation of orders
  • Accurate product descriptions
  • Integration of Care+ or bundled services



Apple World is not responsible for third-party service performance or platform-specific errors.





10. FRAUD PREVENTION & VERIFICATION



10.1 Marketplace transactions are subject to Apple World Fraud Prevention & Verification Policy.


10.2 Apple World may verify identity, payment, or delivery information for high-value or flagged transactions.


10.3 Fraudulent activity may result in cancellation, denial of Care+ coverage, or legal action.





11. COMPLIMENTARY SIM & DATA PROMOTIONS



11.1 Eligible purchases via marketplaces may include Cell C Home Connecta Flexi SIM & data bundles.


11.2 Activation, usage, and service quality are governed by Cell C Terms & Conditions.


11.3 Apple World is not liable for network performance or interruptions.

Find your trade-in value
When will my order be delivered?

It’s easy to check the status of your order. First, visit your Order Listing page and sign in to your Store Account. After that, select an item to view your order details, including an estimated delivery date.

How do I track my order?

For items shipped to a physical address, you’ll receive a shipment notification email with your carrier information, an estimated delivery date, and, if available, a tracking number. If you ordered multiple items, you may have separate tracking information for each one.

Picking up instead? Once your order is ready, we’ll send a pickup notification email with the Pick Up Point location.

You can also view shipping and pickup information by selecting an item from your Order Listing page.

Do I have to sign for a shipped package?

To ensure safe delivery, most shipments require a signature. If you won’t be available, sign in to your Order Listing page and use the “Pre-sign for delivery” link to authorize the delivery with the carrier ahead of time. Refer to the Shipping & Pickup help page for more information.

How do I return my product?

You have 14 calendar days to return an item. To return an item to Apple World, sign in to your Order Listing page and select an item, then use the “Start a Return” link. You can also return the item to your nearest Pick Point
