1. DEFINITIONS & INTERPRETATION
For these Terms:
- “Apple World” refers to K2025594416 (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd trading as Apple World.
- “Customer” means the individual or entity purchasing products or services.
- “Products” include all goods sold by Apple World, including Apple devices, Beats, Bang & Olufsen, and accessories.
- “Third-Party Service Providers” include payment processors, financing providers, courier/logistics partners, network operators, and marketplaces.
- “Policies” refers to all Apple World policy documents published on www.appleworld.co.za, including Warranty, Care+, Delivery, Returns, Privacy, and Marketplace Policies.
All references to third-party services incorporate the relevant third-party Terms & Conditions by reference. Use of these services constitutes agreement to such terms.
2. APPLICATION OF TERMS
2.1 These Terms apply to all purchases, installations, and services via www.appleworld.co.za or through Apple World authorised marketplaces (Avo, Takealot).
2.2 Separate Apple World Policies are incorporated by reference and are part of this Agreement. Customers acknowledge that continued use of the site or services constitutes acceptance.
2.3 Any conflict between these Terms and separate Policy documents will be resolved in favour of the more specific Policy, unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE
3.1 All orders are subject to acceptance by Apple World.
3.2 Confirmation occurs only after payment authorisation and receipt of order acknowledgement.
3.3 Apple World may cancel orders caused by:
- Pricing or system errors
- Stock unavailability

Credit or financing declines
3.4 Pre-orders and backorders are governed by the estimated delivery dates provided at the point of sale.
4. PAYMENT & THIRD-PARTY FINANCE
4.1 Apple World accepts payments through authorised third-party providers:
4.2 Customers using third-party services enter into a separate contractual relationship with the provider.
4.3 Approval, financing, and repayment terms are governed exclusively by the relevant third-party agreements. Apple World does not guarantee credit approval.
4.4 For Float 24-month contracts, optional Apple World Care+ and Accidental Protection may be bundled into total financed amounts.
5. TITLE & RISK TRANSFER
5.1 Ownership of Products transfers upon full payment.
5.2 Risk passes at confirmed delivery to the address provided.
5.3 Deliveries are facilitated via Bob Go or authorised partners.
6. DELIVERY & LOGISTICS
6.1 Delivery timelines are indicative. Delays may occur due to stock, courier, or network issues.
6.2 Identity verification may be required for high-value items.
6.3 Insurance, tracking, and special delivery instructions are governed by the Apple World Delivery Policy and courier Terms.
7. WARRANTY & AFTER-SALES
7.1 Products are covered by:
- Manufacturer Warranty (Apple, Beats, Bang & Olufsen)
- Distributor-backed warranty through ASBIS Africa
- South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) rights
7.2 Extended coverage is offered under Apple World Care+ Policy, including optional accidental protection.
8. RETURNS & REFUNDS
8.1 All returns are governed by the Apple World Returns Policy.
8.2 Refund timelines may vary based on payment method and third-party processing times.
8.3 Return eligibility must comply with product condition and warranty terms.
9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & CROSS-REFERENCES
9.1 Apple World may facilitate services provided by:
- Avo
- Takealot
- Cell C Home Connecta Flexi
- Payment and logistics providers (Bob Pay, Float, Bob Go)
9.2 By using these services, customers agree to all applicable third-party terms and acknowledge Apple World’s limited liability.
9.3 Apple World does not control, amend, or guarantee performance of third-party services. Disputes must be addressed directly with the provider.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 To the fullest extent allowed by law, Apple World is not liable for:
- Third-party service performance
- Financing or credit decisions
- Courier delays or delivery failures
- Network performance or SIM activation issues
- Marketplace platform errors
10.2 Liability is limited to the supply of goods and Apple World-controlled services, including Apple World Care+.
10.3 These limitations do not affect statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
11. FRAUD PREVENTION & VERIFICATION
11.1 Apple World reserves the right to:
- Conduct identity verification
- Delay or cancel suspicious transactions
- Request supporting documentation
- Refuse service for high-risk or fraudulent orders
12. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY
12.1 Personal information is processed under POPIA and Apple World Privacy Policy.
12.2 Data may be securely shared with third-party providers for delivery, finance, and service execution.
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
13.1 Internal Escalation
- Customers must first submit complaints to Support@appleworld.co.za.

Escalation steps include:
- Customer Service Review (5 business days)
- Manager Review (additional 5 business days)

- Apple World will provide a written response at each step.
13.2 Arbitration
- If unresolved, either party may refer the dispute to confidential arbitration in Gauteng under the Arbitration Act.
13.3 Court Jurisdiction
- If arbitration is not elected, disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa (Gauteng Division).
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
15. AMENDMENTS
Apple World may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of services or website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
