1. PURPOSE
This Payment & Installment Policy outlines Apple World’s procedures, terms, and conditions regarding:
- Payment processing
- Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) financing via Float
- Card and EFT payments via Bob Pay
- Apple World Care+ bundles, including optional accidental protection
The policy ensures transparency, legal compliance, and alignment with third-party service providers.
2. DEFINITIONS
- “Customer” – Any individual or entity purchasing products or services.
- “Products” – All items sold by Apple World, including Apple devices, Beats, Bang & Olufsen, accessories, and SIM promotions.
- “Third-Party Providers” – Payment, financing, and BNPL providers (e.g., Bob Pay, Float).
- “Apple World Care+” – Extended warranty and accidental protection product offered optionally with financing plans.
3. PAYMENT METHODS

4. PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 All payments must be authorised and cleared before order processing.
4.2 Bob Pay Transactions:
- Instant EFT or card authorisation is required
- Payment failure may result in order cancellation
4.3 Float BNPL Transactions:
- Financing subject to Float credit assessment
- Installment schedule clearly displayed at checkout
- Customers enter a direct contractual relationship with Float, and all repayment terms are governed by Float policies
4.4 Apple World Care+ Integration:
- Care+ and optional accidental protection fees may be included in the total financed amount
- Coverage details are outlined in the Apple World Care+ Policy
- Care+ integration does not affect the customer’s obligations under Float or Bob Pay agreements
5. INSTALLMENT TERMS (FLOAT 24-MONTH PLAN)
5.1 Installment periods may range from 3 to 24 months, based on product and eligibility.
5.2 Interest rates, fees, and total repayment obligations are determined solely by Float and are disclosed prior to order confirmation.
5.3 Customers remain responsible for:
- Timely repayments per Float agreement
- Fees or penalties for late or missed payments
- Credit reporting impacts in accordance with South African law
5.4 Apple World is not liable for Float credit approval outcomes, repayment defaults, or any credit reporting events.
6. PAYMENT CONFIRMATION & RECEIPTS
6.1 Customers will receive a payment confirmation email once authorised via Bob Pay or Float.
6.2 Receipts include:
- Product details
- Amount paid or financed
- Payment method
- Applicable VAT
6.3 Payment confirmation is required before order processing and dispatch.
7. SECURITY & DATA PROTECTION
7.1 All payment data is transmitted securely via SSL encryption.
7.2 Apple World does not store sensitive card details; these are tokenised and processed by Bob Pay or Float.
7.3 Personal information used for payment is processed in accordance with Apple World Privacy & Data Protection Policy and POPIA regulations.
8. REFUNDS & PAYMENT ADJUSTMENTS
8.1 Refunds related to returned or cancelled products are processed according to the Apple World Returns & Refund Policy.
8.2 BNPL adjustments (via Float) follow both Apple World instructions and Float contractual terms.
8.3 Apple World is not responsible for third-party processing delays or administrative errors beyond its control.
9. THIRD-PARTY TERMS & LIMITED LIABILITY
9.1 By selecting a third-party payment method, customers accept and agree to the provider’s Terms & Conditions.
9.2 Apple World’s liability is limited to:
- Proper facilitation of payment requests
- Accurate reporting of order amounts
- Integration of Care+ coverage within approved BNPL plans
9.3 Apple World is not liable for:
- Credit approval or decline decisions
- Payment processing errors outside our systems
- Disputes regarding repayment schedules or finance charges
10. DISPUTE & COMPLAINT PROCEDURE
10.1 Customers experiencing payment issues must contact Support@appleworld.co.za.
10.2 Apple World internal escalation steps (up to 10 business days):
- Customer Service Review
- Manager Review
10.3 Unresolved disputes may proceed to arbitration or court in accordance with Master Terms & Conditions of Sale, Section 13.
11. POLICY UPDATES
Apple World may amend this policy to reflect:
- Regulatory changes
- Third-party provider updates
- Operational or procedural enhancements

When will my order be delivered?
It’s easy to check the status of your order. First, visit your Order Listing page and sign in to your Store Account. After that, select an item to view your order details, including an estimated delivery date.
How do I track my order?
For items shipped to a physical address, you’ll receive a shipment notification email with your carrier information, an estimated delivery date, and, if available, a tracking number. If you ordered multiple items, you may have separate tracking information for each one.
Picking up instead? Once your order is ready, we’ll send a pickup notification email with the Pick Up Point location.
You can also view shipping and pickup information by selecting an item from your Order Listing page.
Do I have to sign for a shipped package?
To ensure safe delivery, most shipments require a signature. If you won’t be available, sign in to your Order Listing page and use the “Pre-sign for delivery” link to authorize the delivery with the carrier ahead of time. Refer to the Shipping & Pickup help page for more information.
How do I return my product?
You have 14 calendar days to return an item. To return an item to Apple World, sign in to your Order Listing page and select an item, then use the “Start a Return” link. You can also return the item to your nearest Pick Point
